Move-Out Checklist (Smooth Refund)

his checklist helps you reduce deductions and speed up refund processing.

Before inspection (recommended)

Give move-out notice as per agreement
Clear all pending dues and keep receipts:
- electricity
- water / gas / internet (if applicable)
- society/association dues (if any)
Remove all personal items and clean the flat properly
Fix small issues you caused (often cheaper than deductions):
- broken fittings
- minor damages
- missing accessories
Ensure all appliances (if any) are in working condition

During handover

Attend the joint move-out inspection
Sign the Move-Out Condition Report
Return all access items:
- keys
- remotes
- access cards/fobs
- mailbox key (if any)
Share forwarding address and bank details (if required)

To avoid delays

Don’t leave bill closures pending
Keep move-in photos ready for comparison
Return all access items on the same day of handover
